Topologías del Cuidado brings together a selection of works by Geles Cabrera, Maruch Santíz Gómez and Candida Höfer to reflect on sensitive and critical forms of care—towards the body, memory, space, and displaced forms of knowledge.

Through diverse formal languages—sculpture, photography, assemblage—the artists interrogate structures of power and ideas around visibility, exclusion, and representation from distinct positions.
Cabrera approaches the female body with a sculptural language that is intimate and modern; her approach to form is lyrical, and the moments and postures she sculpts evoke closeness and sensuality. Santíz Gómez photographs objects, gestures, and symbols from within her Tsotsil identity, restoring agency, beauty, joy, and pride to the everyday practices of her community. Höfer photographs empty institutional spaces with a precision that reveals the power structures that have historically determined who is authorized to inhabit visibility.

The exhibition weaves a topology in which care is not consolation or ornament, but a political gesture that moves through materials, forms, and memory.
